Voyagers Program: Before & After Care

Where learning extends beyond the classroom walls.

Program Overview

Learning that continues before and after the school day.

As children grow, their world expands, and so does their curiosity. Our Voyagers Program offers a safe, engaging space for school-age children to recharge, connect with friends, and explore their interests before and after the school day.

From morning hellos to afternoon goodbyes, our teachers create a community that feels like home. With time for homework, creative projects, games, and outdoor play, Voyagers’ classrooms balance structure with freedom, helping children build courage, friendships, and self-direction.

The Emergent Curriculum Approach

The Voyagers classroom follows an emergent curriculum philosophy, where learning unfolds through your children’s interests. Teachers collaborate with students to co-create activities that build on what they’re learning in school, helping them connect classroom knowledge to real-world ideas through art, science, writing, and play.

In this age group, curiosity and confidence go hand in hand. That’s why each day blends academic support with meaningful experiences that stretch imagination, strengthen responsibility, and nurture problem-solving.

Whether it’s completing homework, leading a group challenge, or designing a creative project, Voyagers know that every moment can be an opportunity to learn.

Daily Highlights

Each day includes:

  • Focused spaces with teacher support provide homework and reading time that help children complete assignments and build study habits.
  • STEM building challenges offer hands-on experiments and creative problem-solving that turn imagination into discovery.
  • Art and expression projects encourage painting, crafting, and design, helping children express their individuality.
  • Outdoor games and group play build teamwork, movement skills, and sportsmanship, strengthening cooperation.
  • Collaborative meetings invite children to share ideas, set intentions, and help shape their day together.
  • Choice-based centers allow time for building, creating, reading, or relaxing, giving every child agency over their learning.
