Pathfinders Program: Pre-K

Where your child steps forward, ready for the road ahead.

Program Overview

Where learning takes flight.

Every Pre-K child is on the brink of something big, and our Pathfinders Program helps them step into that next stage with confidence, curiosity, and care. Designed for children ages four to five, the Pathfinders classroom bridges early learning with kindergarten readiness through hands-on exploration, small-group instruction, and individualized planning that meets every child where they are.

Our teachers encourage problem-solving and creativity by balancing academic foundations, social-emotional learning, and active play.

The Emergent Curriculum Approach

Rooted in an emergent curriculum model, our Pathfinders teachers observe children’s interests and design activities around what excites them, whether that’s space, seasons, or animals.

This flexible, child-responsive approach ensures learning is meaningful and engaging while nurturing every area of development: cognitive, physical, social, and emotional.

Each day includes literacy, writing, math, science, art, music, and movement, woven into enjoyable experiences that make learning feel natural.

Daily Highlights

Each day includes:

  • Circle time and storytelling that build early reading, listening, and language skills.
  • Writing and fine-motor practice through journaling, tracing, and name writing.
  • Math and science discovery with counting games, experiments, and problem-solving challenges.
  • Art, music, and dramatic play for creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.
