About Our Teachers

We believe great teaching starts with great support. That’s why we invest in our teachers through professional development opportunities four times a year, including our annual Professional Development Day and quarterly in-service training sessions. The more our teachers bring, the more students take with them.

Our teachers are the heart of our classrooms. Each one is carefully selected for their experience, education, and most importantly, their love for children. From guiding first steps to celebrating big milestones, our team is committed to nurturing the whole child: socially, emotionally, and academically.
Accreditations

Every Creative Playrooms teacher meets Ohio’s licensing guidelines for early childhood educators. Our standards ensure each classroom is guided by educators who bring both heart and expertise to their work.
Teacher Credentials
All lead teachers hold one or more of the following: Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or a related field.
Assistant Teacher Credentials
Our assistant teachers support classroom learning under experienced mentors while completing their credentials in ECE.
State Licensing
All staff are required to complete a specific number of state-approved training hours each year through the Department of Children and Families or their state licensing authority.
Ongoing Professional Development
24 hours of professional development each year are completed by lead teachers in topics like child development, learning strategies, and family collaboration.

CPR & First Aid
Our team is certified in CPR & First Aid to ensure we can provide children immediate and effective response in case of a medical emergency.
Safety & Emergency Preparedness
Through proactive planning and secure procedures, we respond confidently to fire, weather, and lockdown emergencies to keep every child safe.
Universal Precautions
We follow strict hygiene and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and healthy environment for children and staff.
Medication Administration
Select staff are trained and certified for proper handling, documentation, and care when administering medicine.
Background Checks
Your trust means everything.
We know that peace of mind starts with knowing your child is in safe hands. Each staff member completes thorough state and federal background checks, including fingerprinting and reference verification. Only the most qualified, trustworthy individuals join our team, so you can feel confident in the care your child receives.
