Montessori Program
Our Montessori program is built on the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, who believed that education should nurture the love of learning and honor every child’s unique rhythm of growth. This approach recognizes that children develop intellectually, socially, and emotionally when given the freedom to explore within clear, supportive boundaries.
At Creative Playrooms Strongsville, each Montessori classroom for children ages three to six is designed to inspire independence. Children are guided, not instructed, by teachers who help them select developmentally appropriate materials that promote problem-solving, organization, and self-assurance.
By encouraging self-directed learning, our Montessori program allows children to unlock their own abilities and experience the joy of mastering new skills. It’s a philosophy that helps every child become a confident, capable, and compassionate learner.
Free Preschool & Pre-K Programs
Our trusted Preschool and Pre-K programs are available tuition-free for eligible families, offering a warm, safe environment where children learn, grow, and build real-world readiness. Free sessions run four days a week from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM, giving children a consistent routine and families a dependable schedule.
Who Is Eligible
In partnership with Cuyahoga County and ODOE, our free program option is open to Ohio children ages 3 and 4 whose families meet certain guidelines. Children participate in the same high-quality classrooms, with individualized support to reach social, physical, cognitive, and emotional milestones before kindergarten.

Enrichment Activities
We believe every child deserves a variety of ways to learn and succeed.
Our extracurricular enrichment activities are offered outside of the regular program schedule and are unique to each location. They help children develop creativity, coordination, and confidence while keeping every week full of fun.

Swimming
Our swimming program teaches water safety and swimming skills in a pool designed especially for young children. Lessons are led by certified instructors, combining guided practice and free swim time. Beyond coordination and strength, children gain courage and a sense of accomplishment as they progress at their own pace. Parental permission is required for participation.
Community & Classroom Fun
Learning at Creative Playrooms Westlake extends far beyond the classroom. Through themed celebrations, hands-on activities, and community engagement, we make every season special and meaningful for our students.
Classroom Parties
From Valentine’s Day to St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, we bring holidays to life through crafts, games, and connection.
Special Attire Days
From Wacky Hair Day to Rodeo Week, we make learning fun with themed dress-up days tied to events, holidays, and weekly lessons.
Fun Within the Community
Through special visits from community helpers and local professionals, children get to learn about the world around them.
These experiences help children connect what they learn in class to the world around them, building confidence and compassion with every adventure.
NEW! Exploration Preschool at Creative Playrooms Strongsville
Creative Playrooms Strongsville is proud to offer Exploration Preschool, a 2.5-hour program designed for 3- and 4-year-olds to build kindergarten readiness through creativity, collaboration, and discovery. Flexible morning and afternoon sessions fit family schedules while helping children grow in confidence, independence, and key early learning skills.
Our dedicated teachers create a warm, play-based environment where every child can explore, make friends, and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
